Our great trip to Scotland

Our group is formed by five people: Bradley, Camilo, Lorena, Gillian and Mariah

Before our holidays started our parents took us to Reina Sofia airport in Tenerife south so we could get on the plane for half past one. We flew with and returned on ryanair.

When we arrived at Glasgow airport we got a taxi to the hotel. When we got to the hotel we checked in and left our suitcases in our room and then we went for something to eat.

For the first five days a minibus picked us up every morning at half past nine and took us to a hut where we had breakfast, after having breakfast we got back on the bus and went to do activities, after the activities the bus left us back at the hotel until the next day.

The second day we went on a cruise through the Loch ness river and then to the Urquhart castle.

The third day we went to Culloden battlefield and we also went to the Cawdor castle.

The fourth day we visited the Inverewe Gardens.

The fifth day we walked around the Eilean Donan castle. It was a long walk!

We did see a lot of castles!

We learnt about some of the castles and what they were used for.

And the last day (sixth day) we stayed in the hotel all day. Because we were tired and the next day we were going back home.

In the morning we got up and went to a restaurant and had a lovely Scottish  breakfast. It was delicious!

When we finished we went back to the hotel got our suitcases and checked out of the hotel.

When we left the hotel we had to wait for the taxi to get back to the airport.

When we got to the airport some musicians were playing famous Scottish music on the bagpipes.

• Loch ness and the Urquhart Castle:   £19.50 each
• Battlefield of Culloden and Cawdor castle:   £19.25 each
• Dunrobin Castle:   £8.75 each

• Elien Castle:   £5.50 each

Summary

Hotel: £200 each

Activities: £70 each

Flights: £20  each

Food (in restaurants): £100 each

Taxi: £10 each

We wanted to spend £700 per person that means  a £3600  budget for the five us. But in the end we got a really good offer that only cost us £600  per person that means for the five of us it cost  £3000  so we saved £600.

Conclusion

We all had a good time and a laugh, we liked everything and we learned something new.

We just didn't like the coming back home part, everybody wanted to stay there!
